    Yes we had a really good time at kinetik.. was good to play there, great crowd and organizers – it truely was fun for us. We didnt eared any complaints so far hence it seems it wasnt so bad to have us there too :)

    to explain the name S.K.E.T. i think i have to explain how actually economy worked in the socialist state we grew up. unlike in western countries were u have many corporations or companies producing the same range of goods we had all of the different factories or branches combined together in one “Kombinat”. there were different types of Kombinats for every part of producing you can think of – a Kombinat for agriculture, or industrialised breeding, for building residential and comercial buildings, u name it… among those there was one Kombinat for heavy machinery production. the so called S.K.E.T.. some Kombinats were named after leaders or importand persons of the socialist or communist workers liberation movements after the 1st world war and the 20s and early 30s in germany. Ernst Thälmann was one of them and the Kombinat was named after him because he was a very important figure during the establishment of workers unions and was murdered by the nazies in 1944.

    So S.K.E.T. means more or less Heavy Machinery Production Combination “Ernst Thälmann”. :)

    I hope that explains it a bit.
