Scrap.edx - Non_Linear Interfacing

So, I'm new to this reviewing thing. I've thought about reviewing for about a year now, and have been prompted quite often. When I finally worked up the, um, motivation? ambition? nerve? to write a review, I'd spent a lot of time reading others' reviews to try and develop a format, or helpful hints for a "how to?" After all this, I've decided I'm never going to be able to write a review detailing every little beat and sound in a flowing, descriptive, critical, elegant manner. It just isn't me. Which leaves the question, how do I want to write a review? Well, I'm not exactly sure.

I'm tempted to just say, "Damn, this is a good disc. I danced, I grooved, I thoroughly enjoyed it." This, of course, just doesn't seem to be up to speed, in comparison with my fellow reviewers. But heck, that's what I'm going to do.

Scrap.edx's Non_Linear Interfacing is a solid release for the still fresh label, DTA Records. It ranges from industrial noise rhythmic beats to ambient interludes. With a bit of drum n' bass tossed in, it gives a Tarmvred/Gridlock feel at times, and then comes back with harsh dancey noise. I really enjoyed it, and recommend it for fans of the character Ant-Zen sound.
